My name is Melita, a Greek mythological name signifying honey and sweetness. I carry this essence in my warm and caring approach, along with much enthusiasm and energy. I have devoted most of my life to the exploration of human relationships and communication. As a mother of 5 children, creativity, empathy, and trust have been fundamental qualities learnt on the job, together with resourcefulness, resilience and copious amounts of humour.
My background is in theatre and languages, and in my early career, I lived and worked in Italy as an interpreter and teacher. On moving back to the UK I developed my curiosity for personal growth and embarked on an exciting journey studying various disciplines of self-enquiry and mental wellbeing. I created a bespoke programme that I have been teaching in schools to children of various ages, to administration and teaching staff, and to senior leadership.
My innovative Living-Life Coaching programme is the result of many years of research, experience and passion for life. My own journey has been one of profound transformation. I have shifted from living with frequent bouts of anxiety and insecurity to a life full of curiosity, courage, and compassion.
Drawing from my extensive training in Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Nonviolent Communication, Aromatherapy Massage and Reflexology, along with practices in Yoga, Ecstatic Dance, Voicework, Nutrition, and Exercise, I support clients in living holistically and finding balance and purpose in their lives.
